Heads in the clouds – Bremont event at North Wield Airfield

On the 24th of June Heather Swan and Aileen Coulter attended a Bremont event in North Wield Airfield in Essex. Whilst there they got a sneak preview of the new Martin Baker watch – EM1 - who was the inventor of the ejection seat. The EM1 watch is limited to 7200 pieces as this is how many lives have been saved by the ejection seat since 1922. They also viewed the Super Marine watch, Bremont’s first divers watch. The day also included an Air show and the chance to go up in a “Broussard” surveillance/bomber aircraft.
